The well adorned Chivas in its regal form occupied the corner of the cupboard since 2016.
It was waiting to be opened for a celebration at Kuttan's residence in Bangalore with his cherished friends.
The waiting dragged on from weeks to months to years with Kuttan leaving us in 2023.The bottle continued to occupy it's place for a further more than three years taking it to a total of 10+ years.
The bottle had remarkable resilience of waiting and resisting the so many glances and close shaves of the near opening and enjoying.
But the packaged stuff silently blared with that attitude “Touch me not I am not for you”.
Looks shrank and it continued its peaceful existence at the designated spot.
Perhaps the time has come as it travelled from Bangalore to Pondicherry to Chennai to Kottayam to be delivered to its rightful place.
A weight is lifted as it was not easy safeguarding it for this long a time.
Destination arrived .Now just to be handed over.
